Iris can now not only say "block" but she can stack them by herself!!! It's so cute seeing her concentrate!!

Teeth!!!

You can start to see Iris' 2 front teeth coming in! She has 2 on the bottom poking through and her 2 top teeth as well!!!

Date Night!!!

Doug had a work dinner to attend last night and invited me to come along! We ate at the Fish Market and it was yummy!!!! I had spicy Asian shrimp, spinach artichoke and crab dip, I even tried a teeny tiny piece of calamari!! Yep, would have spit that out if no one was looking! Yuck!!! I ordered the lump crab crab cakes and Doug ordered ginger crusted salmon!! Both were yummy!!!

It was fun!

Iris got to wear her aunt Brandi out all evening! She seemed to have fun bc she was ready for bed as soon as we got back and didn't put up a fight!!! Brandi took some cute pictures of her!!!

Thanks for watching her for us!!!

It only took him 15 months but he finally likes Iris!!!

As you can tell, she loves him!!!!

I love my job!!!

I get these little "power of ones" all the time but a few always stand out and make me smile and reinforces that I am doing what I should! It's not always easy and happy in baby land but it's nice to be appreciated!!!

And NO, I do not just feed and rock babies =). That's just a little perk sometimes when its not crazy!!! We have volunteers that do that for us =)

Bunny park

These bunnies are on top of the splash park! They are pretty neat so today we decided to check them out after we played in the fountains!!

Hurricane!!

We were just playing along and the fountains let loose! It was hysterical! Doug grabbed iris as fast as he could and she wasn't too happy about getting soaked haha

another hot day!

So, we headed back to the bunny park to play in the fountains!!! Each time we go, iris seems to enjoy it more an more!!!

Now I have to nurse 2 babies!!!

It used to be kitty that I had to work around while nursing iris but now I have to nurse Iris holding her baby! Silly girl!

She loves her new baby and I think she uses the bottle for herself more than feeding her baby! I offered to nurse her baby since she won't feed hers an she gave me a worried look haha. No sharing mom's milk, I guess!!

Being silly in the car with her baby

We were out and about and found Iris the cutest baby doll!! She has been so lovey to stuffed animals and really took to her cousin's (Adelyn), baby doll. This one is cute! It has soft plastic head,feet, and hands but a pillow belly. We also bought her some bottles and she feeds her baby and makes a suck/slurp sound. Cutest thing ever!!! She loves her new baby!!

Drive home to see the grandparents!

Doug got off work early yesterday so we took a drive home to visit all the grandparents!!!

We first stopped at the Barker's where iris visited her nana and grandpa. She was running all over playing with a ball and farm animals! She had a fun time!!!

Next we headed to piqua where we surprised my grandma with Iris knocking at her door! Grandma finally got to see iris walk/run in person!!! Then Grammy and pappy Steve showed up and we had dinner from the rootbeer stand! Yum!!!

We played and grandma brought out the snoopy phone that I used to play with as a child!!! I used to call my elementary and jr high boyfriends on that phone!!!

It was a nice visit with everyone!!! =)

Then we put iris in her pj's an headed back to Hilliard!!! She was awake most of the drive =). I think one of the grandparents gave get some sugar!!!

This cuteness turned 15 months today!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Iris goes for her 15th month weigh in on the 10th so I will do my big post then!!!
