Gymnastics

So...this is happening!!!!

Iris has her first gymnastics class on Monday and I can't even begin to tell you how excited she was and how much she enjoyed the class! She had a smile from ear to ear the entire time!

She did great listening to commands and taking turns! Can't wait for the next class next Monday!!!

19 and 20 weeks!!

The night before Doug's birthday (August 8th, 19 weeks), Doug and Iris were able to feel little baby kicks for the first time!  Such a neat moment!  I have felt him move a lot since about 14 weeks but it's very consistent and much stronger now!!!  It was neat to have them feel it on the outside!!

HAPPY Birthday Dada!

For Doug's 32nd birthday, he requested pie and hiking at Hocking Hills so that is what we did for him!!!

It was so nice!  We had a picnic while we were there and just walked and saw what we wanted.  Iris went when she was a bitty baby so this was her first time running around.  Made me very nervous ha!  

But we all had fun!  

Stopped for ice cream on our way back home!

It was a great family time!!

and a little update about Iris

With all this new baby business...a little update about Iris is needed!

She has found her love for carousels!  We have been going to the zoo about a zillion times and finally this spring I made her sit on a horse on the carousel (we would usually ride on the bench) and she finally started to love it!  Now we have to ride on one everywhere we go!  

Including the fair we went to this week!  She loves it!!!

She loves all things pink including the GIANT pink dolphin she won at the fair!

She rides this thing all over the house!!

She will always have a "lovey" with her every where she goes. Lately it's a momma and baby panda but I swear she has every stuffed animal type made and she loves them all!!!

And she loves her "cutters" nana got for her!  She loves to practice cutting paper and has fun doing it!

She is also starting gymnastics on August 25th.  This will be so much fun to watch.  I think she's going to have a blast!!!

Other things she likes to do are to sing and dance.  She has moves like her father....poor thing!!!

She loves playing with her friends and we are very lucky to have lots of friends with children her age around town!

She's busy busy busy and oh so silly and doesn't. stop. talking. ever!

She has the best personality!!! 

We love her so!!

18 weeks and it's a....

On July 30th we are 18 weeks!!!  We had our anatomy scan and OSU Maternal Fetal Medicine where baby got a head to toe check-up and everything looked great!  

We also found out the sex of the baby and it's a....

It's a boy!!!!!

We are very excited!  

We didn't care either way but having one of each will be fun!

Iris seems happy as well even though she says she wants a baby sister or sometimes wants a baby elephant!

Ha!!!

We are growing a 9 oz cute bundle of joy!!!
