And...something else to share!

Along with the last post, we have been super busy...busy growing a new baby!!!

On vacation in June, we were 12 weeks!!

We were super excited and surprised!  We had been trying for a few months with no success and then we stopped "trying" to get out of having a baby in the winter months, and bam...we got pregnant the very next month!  Ha!  

We are due New Year's Eve!  

Tax baby!!! oh yeah!

We had our 1st trimester screening and were able to get some really cute shots of baby "B" #2

All relaxed and stretched out with legs crossed and hand by it's face!  So sweet!  

And here we go with some weekly belly shots...

14 weeks!  Don't mind the morning pj shot =)

15 weeks!

No 16 week shot...oops!

We are entering 17 weeks today!  Hopefully I will get a picture before we get to 18 weeks!

We had our OB appointment today and the baby's heart beat sounded strong.  about 140 bpm!  Iris has been going to all our appointments (except for the first obviously!  Don't want to scar her with an internal ultrasound already).  She gets so excited to hear the heart beat and really enjoyed seeing the ultrasound at 13 weeks!  She's going to be an amazing big sister!

She's been a big help with me having lots of fun "all day" sickness and fatigue.  It's definitely not as bad as with Iris (didn't lose 12 lbs but have only gained 1 lb so far in this pregnancy.) but still very frustrating to feel like crap for weeks on end!  It's definitely improving but still there some days!  This time around, it's been hard because I can't just lay on the couch and sulk.  I have a 3 year old to keep up with so we push through and try to plan at least a weekly playdate on my days off work if we can so we get out of the house!

Other than that, internally, the websites say the baby is about 5 inches long and forming more solid bone!  Pretty neat!  I have been feeling little "flutters" the past 2 weeks so that's been fun!  Can't wait for Doug and Iris to feel them on the outside!

We have swapped bedrooms this past weekend with Iris so she can have our bigger room to share with the baby and we are now in her room.  It was bitter sweet to have her nursery gone but the new room will be perfect for them!!!  

Next week...gender reveal and big anatomy scan on July 30th!!!
