Time is going too fast!!!
The Reedster is 2 months already!!! It's crazy how much he has grown and all the new things he is doing!
He doesn't go to the pediatrician until another week and a half so we don't know a weight but I'm guessing 12 lbs at least! He is in mostly 3 to 6 month clothes but some of his 3 month outfits will fit for another wear but that's about it!! His cloth diapers don't look so huge anymore on him!
He still nurses about every 2-3 hrs during the day but at night all this week he will eat around 8:30pm and sleep until 1:30 am!!! Then eat and sleep until 4 or 5 ish then up again to eat around 7:30 or 8 am. That's been a huge relief since for so long he has been wanting to eat every 1-2 hrs all night long! He has definitely shown that he prefers sleep over eating at times. If he's sleepy there is no way to feed him. He'll scream and fuss until he falls asleep! Once he's had a cat nap in, then he'll be open to eating! Ha! When he takes a bottle, 2.5 oz still seems to be his preferred amount!
He still sleeps in our room in the rock'n play napper and seems to be doing well! No more choking scares!!! During the day he will wake up and play a bit then still fit in a little cat nap before the next feeding but seems to be awake a bunch more now! He will take a good 2-3 hr nap with me when iris naps at 12:30pm. If he misses this, he's one cranky baby haha. I'm glad I have them both on a good schedule so far!
He LOVES iris and watching her! She's been a good distractor to help so I can get a shower and get ready. She'll help give him his paci, rock him in his napper, and just talk and sing to him. He gives her the biggest smiles!! He's definitely been smiling a ton more the last week or two! It's so fun! He also has been sucking on his hands more and seems to be making more purposeful movements with them!
He's been drooling a bit and blowing bubbles and cooing a bunch. We love to hear his little sounds!
He is such a snuggly baby and we just adore every moment with him!!!
