Story time with Nana

About once a month, nana comes to spend the night and watch Iris the next day!  Iris loves when this happens!!!  Its also nice having Iris at home the entire day and knowing she is safe and in great hands!  We love our babysitter but there is something peaceful knowing your child is in her own house with her nana!!!  Also, Iris doesn't have to get up super early and gets to break all the rules!

A few weeks ago, nana came to visit and read Iris her story before bed!

My sweet ballerina

As a child, I always wanted to be a ballerina! I would dance around my grandparents house listening to classical music on their record player (yes they had one!). The cover to the record had ballerinas on it. My grandma found a pink tutu at a garage sale and I wore it until it didn't fit any longer!!

So, my grandma found this cute outfit and knew it would be perfect for iris!

Maybe one day, she too will dream of being a ballerina =)

A nice walk

Yesterday I was off and it wasn't too cold out so iris and I bundled up and took a nice long walk! She wanted to bring along her friends, Sophie and chuck! She loved our little walk! Had a smile the whole time! We listened to Adele and saw some school busses!
