Total weight gain: 9 lbs! Still 3 lbs under my total 12 lb loss =) I'm sure after the holidays, I'll plump up and really have to watch my weight
Maternity clothes? Yes please! Anything cozy and nothing too tight!
Stretch marks? I haven't noticed anything new but I'm sure that will come!
Sleep: I toss and turn all night and for some reason, the last 2 days, insomnia has set in. This morning, I was up at 2:50am and didn't go back to sleep until 9am and struggled to nap. I'm hoping I sleep through the night tonight!
Best moment this week? happened this morning! Doug got up early with me and we laid on the couch and he felt Iris kicking all over the place =) It was a great bonding moment!
Movement? It comes and goes in spurts but today she has been moving A LOT! Hence the lack of sleep haha
Food cravings? Today salad and something a little bland! Cosi was the perfect dinner choice! I can eat most things but I try to stay away from pasta and red sauces b/c of heart burn and meat still turns my stomach a bit.
Labor signs? None =)
Belly button: Is probably going to pop out any day *lol* It's getting more shallow and I have a tiny herniation where it's wanting to poke out...OMG!
What I miss? Still would love a glass of wine or two!
What I'm looking forward to: getting the crib next weekend and getting the nursery construction underway! I'm anxious to have the wood flooring in and paint on the walls.
Milestones? Reaching the end of my 5th month and almost to the 3rd trimester! Where has the time gone? I am so anxious to meet her and Doug and I talk about life with her so much.
22 week picture!

How your baby's growing:
At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily. How your life's changing:
At this point, you may find your belly becoming a hand magnet. It's perfectly okay to tell folks who touch your tummy that you'd rather they didn't. And if people are telling you that you look smaller or bigger than you should at this point, remember that each woman grows — and shows — at her own rate. What's important is that you see your practitioner for regular visits so she can make sure your baby's growth is on track.
You may start to notice stretch marks on your abdomen as it expands to accommodate your growing baby. At least half of all pregnant women will develop stretch marks by the time they give birth. These small streaks of differently textured skin can range from pink to dark brown (depending on your skin color). Although they most commonly appear on your tummy, stretch marks may also show up on your buttocks, thighs, hips, and breasts. There's no proof that lotion helps prevent stretch marks, but keeping your skin moisturized may help with any itching.
